Murphy is a one year old smooth coated Cocker Spaniel, possibly with a touch of Beagle mix. He has the Cocker docked tail but not all of that fur, so grooming should be pretty easy. For some that's a huge bonus! He currently weighs about 24 lbs and will probably mature to about 27 lbs or so.Murphy is playful and energetic.

He's somewhat selective about his dog friends so if there is another dog in the home Murphy would have to "pre-approve" it. Murphy is a bit too rambunctious at this point to be considered a good option for kids. We believe he is best suited for an adult home with folks who are experienced dog owners who will be committed to providing Murphy with love, structure and training.
